Bred by Grandview Sporthorses in SA, he has 3 very correct and athletic paces with ground covering walk, springy and supple trot and a big canter. He will certainly have a very fancy lengthened trot and the scope to jump. He has spectacular markings which would also make him a standout in the Showring.

Consistently well behaved under saddle even if he has many days off, he has only ever been in light or intermittent work due to my work and lack of time. Still a bit green to ride and needing to develop his balance in the canter. Currently working in a relaxed basic outline, soft connection and offering some stretch. He is also good to ride on a loose rein in all paces. He will be looking for an experienced rider who is calm and consistent in their training methods, and who can develop his balance and confidence and also has had some experience with young horses.

He has been out to various different arenas, ground work and ridden clinics with other horses, and also recently to the beach where he has been well behaved and enjoyed walking through the water. 

I feel this guys forte will be in the pure dressage arena as he has a good amount of forward, but is not over sensitive to the leg. He will also make a cracking Eventer, Show horse, and possibly even Western riding. I have not jumped him under saddle, but he shows confidence and willingness trotting over poles, small cross rails, and is sensible walking on and off small banks and over ditches. Not at all spooky, or worried by fill or flowers or noise.

Quiet and affectionate in the paddock at home. Not clingy to other horses, and does not call out when separated. He has 4 excellent black feet ( even though he has white stockings), which are barefoot as he has not required shoeing yet. Falls asleep for the farrier. Does not scramble or move when travelling.

He is an outstanding type all round. He is sound and never had any soundness issues and is ready to commence full work. Only selling due no time for him as I have full committments with work, school and kids school sports.

He will suit an ambitious young rider with a professional coach, or an adult experienced rider who has all the time in the world for this special young horse.
