George is is the complete package - blood, scope and temperament, with experience up to 1.10m and EVA 80. George has blingy grey looks, athletic confirmation and elegant movement.

Pedigree

By KS Capulet Ego Z (Carthago x Catherine Ego Z), and a dam with Danehill bloodlines, He is purpose bred to jump, yet also boasts three beautiful paces making him suitable for any discipline. He is bold, athletic and genuine, and has the ability to progress into higher levels with the right rider.

Temperament

George has an incredibly willing and trainable character. He is easy to handle with no dirt. He is bold in jumping and tries his heart out. Currently ridden by a junior rider and can be ridden out on trails by himself and with other horses. As with any big, young warmblood, George is not suited for novice or nervous riders.

Performance

George stepped up to 1.10m showjumping this year and is training higher. He has only competed in xc twice - one EVA 65cm and one EVA 80cm, but has schooled higher. George has competed in a few preliminary dressage tests with scores in the 60's.

George was started under saddle late (at 5) and has annual short breaks to let him grow. He has been in training with professional eventers and showjumpers. The focus so far has been on correct training and competition exposure. The hard work of desensitisation and exposure of a young WB has been done. George has been competed in showjumping, eventing, combined training, an Ag show and receives regular professional coaching by Gemma Creighton-Buchanan. He qualified for the 2025 Qld IQ State Championships in his first outings.

Why we love him

George is a super enjoyable horse to own and train. He is a trying, sensitive type that just loves his job. He will take a competitive rider all the way. He is for sale as his junior rider is in his final years at school and has sadly lost interest in competing - no fault of the horse at all.

What you might not like, but shouldn't put you off

George is a mild windsucker. It's really easily managed by either electric fencing or a collar.
