Ellie is a lovely horse sired by Testa Rossa whose progeny have consistently made nice Eventers, and just nice horses. Ellie has come to us to sell on behalf of his owner, who didn’t plan to sell him however has had a change in circumstance.

Solid experience eventing at 95 Ellie placed at EA eventing comps across Victoria and won a few best OTT awards as well. He is a cracking type with nice paces. His is good on the flat consistently scoring high 60s - 70%. in the dressage.

He has settled in beautifully here, and been extremely straightforward to ride and jump. He has a big jump with plenty of scope.
Ellie has a good education on the flat and really wants to please his rider.
Suit confident amateur rider looking for a competitive eventer with scores on the board, amd just a nice, frowneky easy horse yo manage at home and out at events. Ellie really is just a lovely person as well.
Well schooled and gives a lovely ride on the flat so could suit a rider who is more dressage focused. We have had a variety of riders on him. He is great to take out on his own or with other horses. We have used him to move cattle and ridden out with kids on ponies.

Ellie is over at the knee, this hasn’t affected his performance and he has had no issues with it racing and in his post racing career, however is to be noted. His price reflects this.
We have had him checked and x rayed 4/ december with no significant findings, and happy to share x rays.

Notes from current owner. "Ellie has adapted to life on the farm very well, & makes friends with everyone, he loves a carrot as much as he loves a cuddle. I had him as my second thing horse for a long time, he certainly deserves someone to be his number one. I must say he has always been my wingman. A very straightforward and easy horse who I have enjoyed very much. I have even lent him to a friend when she had lost confidence in her own horse. If I could be critical he can be dominant in the paddock when running in a herd, and has torn a few rugs on there horses. There isn't much more to find fault int his beautiful man. "
