Winnie is a beautiful, kind-natured mare with great bloodlines and the temperament to match.
She really is that rare unicorn type—quiet, safe, and reliable with almost bombproof on the ground and under saddle, at home or during outings. 

Quiet, sensible, and safe. Ridden by young children and beginner adults under supervision.

She has very big bouncy floating paces and requires a balanced rider to bring the best out of her however she adapts to her rider level, if you want to go slow she will, if you want to move she will.

Currently training Novice and with her trainable nature she will progress through the levels with the right rider.

Easy to catch, shoe, and float. An easy keeper—low maintenance, barefoot, and fuss free.

A straightforward and fuss-free mare who is a pleasure to have around.

Well-suited to Dressage, Adult Amateur Owner/Rider (AOR), pleasure riding, and showing interest in jumping —suited to a variety of disciplines.

Easy to take out, has been to TEG on multiple occasions and Aquis, and ridden by a 7yo. No competetion experience yet however won’t phase her.

Winnie has been carefully brought along with her future in mind however I feel she deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential in the right home and I don’t have time to do this unfortunately. Winnie is very special to me. I am NOT in a hurry to move her on, home is most important and I’d like to stay in touch with new owners.

If you’re wanting to go to Grand Prix or show jump 1.50 then she probably isn’t the mare for you but if you want to experience what it’s like to own a sweet, safe mare that gives it you’re all, then Winnie is your girl.

🔎 Notes:

• Mild pigeon toe – does not affect soundness. Vets have advised with correct trimming and joint supplements she will be like any other high performing partner and high level dressage horses are actually bred to achieve higher movements

• Requires saddle to be fitted, doesn’t do anything nasty but will flick her head and be either really forward or stubborn - currently ridden in a Sankey Petite and loves is.

• Doesn’t like her face being sprayed with water - need to do it slowly

• Has suffered choke once or twice so hardfeed needs to be wet down

• Doesn’t like being hard tied ‘sometimes’ 🤔

Open to vet checks and X-rays at buyer’s cost and prefer for you to come and meet her.
