Unregistered 14.2hh 6yo ASH mare

14.2hh, 6yo unregistered bay stock horse mare. Dakota is a super sweet little mare with huge potential in any chosen discipline. She is forward thinking, willing, smart, responsive and super fun.

In her six months with us, we have taken Dakota to jump club, dressage competitions, CRC Pony Club Dressage and Jumping Gala, cross country schooling, Bungendore Show, and one 45cm Horse Trials (one day event). In her previous home, I am told she attended two team sorting days. She is used to kangaroos, deer, chickens, and dogs.

Dakota has no dirt or vices but she is not a beginner’s horse as she is very responsive to leg and is forward moving.

She measures 14.2hh at the wither and is on the smaller side and would be very well suited to a small lady, or capable tween or teen to continue her riding education. She has lovely potential to continue in dressage and has a great canter, honesty and braveness for showjumping, and will make a lovely pony club allrounder and/or jumping pony in time. I’m sure she’d do equally well at cow sports if that’s your thing!

Dakota is of stock horse breeding but is unregistered and not branded.

A blank canvas when we got her, Dakota has well and truly shown her versatility, competing in three dressage competitions, an ag show, pony club outings, and has competed in 45cm showjumping, ode, and even had a go at a 4-bar (shortened 6 bar). She’s a total sweetheart to handle in every way, doesn’t exhibit any separation anxiety, and is quiet to take out.

Teeth and feet are up to date, she is barefoot and she is an easy keeper.
