Ally (Sobeya) is a cracking TB mare who we would LOVE to get to a jumping home.

Sobeya was a $160,000 yearling purchase in NZ however was unsuccessful as a racehorse from minimal starts. She has some handy breeding, we have had quite a few nice Almanzor horses come through.

Sobeya claimed a mere $1,125 fro 2 starts 0-0-0 last racing in April 2025.

With her type and temperament could also excel in a range of things, hunting, polo crosse, barrel racing, stock work, sporting horse. Retired sound and has had six months training and exposure, has also attended Pony Club with a young rider.

Would be a competitive prospect show jumping and one to line up for next years Off The Track Carnival.

Clever, sensible, self assured with lots of scope and ability. Schooling 80- 1m XC & show jumping with scope to go up the grades.

Not phased by fill, good with ditches

She can be boisterous and a big mare, can be impatient and fidgety however very safe and genuine to ride. Absolutely no dirt just wants a job.

Not suited to nervous, novice, highly dressage focussed home, Basics on the flat and travels nicely, big moving mare with an excellent canter. Tolerates flat in the arena however is happy out doing a job in the paddock

Great to take out. Not phased by much. Used to move stock, paddocks well with others.

We had previously sold her to a young rider who took her to Pony Club with success, however she didn’t settle in the boarding school environment. Happy to discuss this, transparency is key!
