16.3hh TB gelding, 8yo

Medindie (known as Danny at home) is a lovely athletic horse and an established 1star eventer, with lots of potential to go further. He has also competed successfully up to 1.05 in straight Showjumping.

He raced as The Denzel and retired sound in 2024. I have never had a soundness issue with him in the 2 years I've owned him.

Danny is well educated on the flat and is lovely and trainable to ride. He has established shoulder in, leg yield and half pass, and also has a super balanced canter.

Cross country he is very bold and forward and will never have trouble making time. He is a naturally careful jumper with plenty of scope.

At his most recent competition he placed 7th in the 1star at Quirindi. He is also Equimillions eligible and placed 4th in the 80cm Open Showjumping there in 2025.

This will be a really fun horse for someone, however he can still get a little hot when he goes out, and is therefore not for a beginner or green rider. He is not horse shy and there is no buck or rear or bad behaviour, just a bit tense and excited. Every time I have taken him out he has been more and more relaxed, but he will still need a confident rider at this stage.

A good knowledgeable home is important as I am quite fond of this horse and want the best for him.
