6YO OTTB GELDING | PROJECT HORSE

Bohemian Lad or known as ‘Beau’ is a rising 6-year-old Thoroughbred gelding who has been off the track for approximately 6 months. He is a handsome horse with plenty of potential and would suit an experienced rider looking for a rewarding project.

Since retiring from racing, Beau has established walk, trot and canter under saddle and has been introduced to basic lateral work, including leg yields. He has attended an XC schooling day and has popped small cross rails, showing potential for eventing, dressage or general riding.

Beau is still young and green and therefore is not suitable for beginners or nervous riders. He requires a confident, knowledgeable home that can continue his education and bring out his best. However the kind of horse i’d jump on bareback to bring in from the paddock

Due to a change in personal circumstances, I am no longer able to give him the consistent work and time he deserves, so I have made the difficult decision to find him a suitable new home.

Please note: He has been out of work for approximately one month and will require bringing back into work.
