Tinkerbell - 17hh grey mare was bought to see if she could transition from being a rock solid straight show-jumper to an Eventer for an amateur rider.
Piloted by an experienced rider Tink quickly got the hang of it, winning her first EvA 80 and would easily step up with rider with a good pair of legs. When piloted by a less experienced rider, Tink takes quite a bit of convincing that she needs to gallop for so long cross country.
On the flat, Tink has lovely paces and rhythm and scored over 70%; but she is definitely more kick than pull.
Show-jumping is where she really excels as she has the most incredible rhythm and never thinks of stopping, regardless of the rider's level of experience. With her previous owner she jumped 1.10m with her current rider, she jumps around 80cm, from any line or distance.
She is very easy to handle, shoe & clip. Tink is very "un-marey" and doesn't get attached and has been paddocked with other horses and on her own. She doesn't change when you take her out.
To travel, she is definitely happier on a truck, than a float, will always get on; but just registers her disapproval by stomping.
