It is with heavy hearts that we've made the difficult decision to offer our beautiful boy, Axel, for sale. This is absolutely no fault of his own—we simply feel he deserves someone with more experience to continue his education and help him reach his full potential.

Axel has been with us since February and is an intelligent horse who enjoys having a job. He is progressing well but needs consistency, confidence and an experienced rider to continue his training.

He is still learning his leg aids and refining his transitions, so he is not a finished riding horse. He thrives on regular work and routine, and with the right person, we believe he has a fantastic future ahead.

Since we've owned him, Axel has travelled to and from Warragul each week for lessons with Dave Middleton, taking the trips in his stride.

About Axel:

✅ Great for the farrier

✅ Good to tie up – happily stands tied without fuss

✅ Excellent to rug – stands quietly while rugs are put on and taken off

✅ Previously shod but has happily been barefoot for the past two months with no issues

✅ Good with other horses

✅ Calm around vehicles and children

✅ Floats once loaded – he may need a little encouragement to step onto the float or trailer, but with a confident handler he will walk straight on. He would benefit from continued float training.

Axel is approximately 15.2hh, making him a lovely size for a range of riders.

He is not suitable for beginners or inexperienced riders. He would be best suited to someone with OTT experience, or an experienced rider looking for a rewarding project who can continue building his confidence and education.
