BHM Empress

Sire: Golden Challenge H (Imp NL) German Riding Pony

Dam: BHM Koncheeta Pure Spanish

Born: 15 November 2025 Grey Filly

This combination of German Riding pony and Pure Spanish has produced a craker of a horse! Movement and presence in a smaller package!

BHM Empress or 'Fancy' as she is called is purpose bred for dressage but will also make a great show hunter. It is hoped BHM Empress will not mature over 14.2hh/14.3hh but with her long legs it is difficult to estimate accurately at the moment. If you are looking for a future show or dressage prospect BHM Empress may be your girl! Fancy is very well handled, has had her feet trimmed regularly and tetanus vaccinated. She is such a beautiful soul!

Registered AHAA and Partbred Welsh.

DAM: BHM Koncheeta is a Pure Spanish mare who is a product of fully imported bloodlines. Her dam, Kenia FC was imported from Spain into Australia in 2005 by Black Horse Manor as one of BHM’s foundation broodmares. Kenia FC’s movement was acceptional and paired with Kaiser MRT (Imp FS) produced the amazing BHM Koncheeta.

Kaiser MRT is by Seni Indio who was Silver and Absolute Champion in Best Movements and Functionality at SICAB 2016 and Bronze at SICAB 2008. MACAUNO (a son of LEBRIJANO III) and LEBRIJANO III feature numerous times in both Kaiser’s sire and dam the lines. LEBRIJANO III is a highly influential PRE stallion. He is known for producing horses that excel in dressage. LEBRIJANO III is also the sire of Spanish Olympic stallions INVASOR II and the grandsire of FUEGO DE CARDENAS. The dam of MACAUNO was twice the SICAB Champion of Spain mare for morphology and movement.

Kaisers dam SENI-PATRICIA is by the black ‘Calificado’ PRE dressage stallion, Carli Seni (also BHM Black Porscha's sire)Carli Seni was 2nd in the Functionality Test and 11th overall in the senior stallion class of the 2004 SICAB.

Thus BHM Koncheeta is not just any Spanish mare, she is impeccibly bred and the dam of the proven successful show and dressage horses, BHM Diana and BHM Spanish Toto and the perfect amateurs horse, BHM Spanish Ninja.

SIRE: Golden Challenge H was approved for breeding at the 2010 Westfalian Pony Stallion Licensing in Munster-Handorf.

He did his 30-day stallion performance test in November 2011 in Munster and scored a total of 8,22 points.

He stood up for stud from 2011 till 2015 at Hinnemann's Krusterhof and produced one licensed son, Great Dancer. He has 22 offspring registered for sport in Germany.

After his licensing by the Westfalian Verband in 2010 Golden Challenge H was Reserve Champion at the Stallion Performance Test in 2011, earning highest marks of all participants for ridability. Age four he won riding horse classes even against horses. He became Vice Champion at the Warendorf Bundeschampionship 2012. He was qualified for the Bundeschampionship again in 2013 and 2014 age five and six. In 2015, age seven, Golden Challenge H competed succesfully at M-level against horses.

In summer 2013 Golden Challenge H celebrated his first meaningful success in breeding, too. Out of a few foals only, that year, one of his sons became Champion of the German Foal Championship in Lienen. Bred by Ulrike Knipping in Rhede out of a mare by Mentos, the young colt met on high demand and sold quickly to a prominent sport barn in Westfalia. The following year, the full sister of the colt became Vice Champion at the Lienen Foal Championship and completed quite a unique breeding success!

Competions

At the 2017 CDIO-P Hagen, Golden Challenge H was first competed in Germany in 2011 by Marina Welbers at local shows in the riding pony classes.

In 2012 the pair qualified for the Bundeschampionate, but it was Beatrice Buchwald (now Hoffrogge) who rode him in Warendorf to a silver medal.

In 2013 Annika Rühl rode the stallion in the A-level tests and won the 2013 Westfalian young pony championships for 5-year olds in Munster. Rühl showed him through 2014, while Welbers was back on board in 2015.

Golden Challenge H sold to Jos Felix in the Netherlands in December 2015. He became a true family pony. All three of his daughters showed him internationally.

Annelotte Felix made her international show debut on him in April 2016 in Nieuw en St. Joosland and competed at two more CDI's that year: Roosendaal and Le Mans. They were seventh at the 2016 Dutch Pony Championships.

In 2017 it was sister Else Felix' turn and she showed in Joosland, Roosendaal, Hagen, and Exloo.

Four years later Golden Challenge H returned to the international arena with Jolien Felix and they rode internationals for two years in 2021 and 2022 at Sint-Truiden, Exloo, Grote Brogel and Compiegne.

In 2024 Golden Challenge H was imported to Australia by Brockurst Stud.
