RC Scarlett – broodmare with potential for future riding

Scarlett is the sweetest and most loveable little mare you’ll ever come across! She is out of a Vivant x thoroughbred mare by a young glenara bred stallion Blueberry R, by glenara gold dust(balou du roet x Bollinger).

She is 4 yrs old(DOB 16/09/2021), currently standing around 15.1hh and expected to mature 15.2hh

We are selling as a broodmare as at some point she has sustained a tendon injury which was only picked up in pre-purchase vet check. She has since been turned out for 6 months and has had another ultrasound but there doesn’t appear to be significant improvement. She is still very sound and videos of her and the images of the ultrasound can be provided to interested parties.

Scarlett had been an absolute pleasure to bring along as she’s easy-going, willing, and always tries her heart out. She has three lovely paces, all the bling, and a big scopey jump and rides lot bigger then her height.

She’s already been out and about to multiple outings including lessons under lights, clinics, Pony Club rallies, and a very busy jump club, all without a lunge! Out and about there’s no silly behaviour, just the odd call out and she’s always happy to get on with the job. Scarlett was confidently jumping 60–80cm out and has jumped up to 1m at home. She had trained novice dressage, loves trail rides, and enjoys mustering cows. Happy to try her hand at everything.

Once recovered from her injury I believe she will make a very serious competition mount for child/ junior showjumping classes as she is brave, honest, clean and will turn on a dime. Would also make a lovely hack, dressage, eventing mount as well.

She is for sale as we are not set up for breeding and need the space for additional horses.

Up to date with vaccines including Hendra which was done this week. She is good to catch, float, tie, trim and currently barefoot.
