Rosebank Fletcher
Fletcher is a 14.1hh, 12 year old Arab x Riding Pony. He has been with me the past 5 years and provided me so much fun, experience and plenty of memories. He is an extremely competitive mount, best suited to a confident teenager who loves jumping as much as he does. He has spent the last season with a 12yo junior rider, who had plenty of success and fun with him.
Fletcher has competed in both Eventing and Showjumping, confidently eventing at 95cm for a couple of years, and showjumping up to 1m. He is scopey and extremely clever on his feet, but I believe he is most happy between the 80-95cm heights. Fletcher has been a great all rounder, also enjoying rallies, beach rides, trail rides, bareback rides and gymkhanas. He is an absolute weapon at all the gymkhana games, pulling out many blue ribbons and overall Champion and Reserve Champion sashes.
Dressage: Fletcher is capable of doing a nice test, with three good paces, established leg yield and shoulder in, however he does require a rider who is soft, has settled hands and clear aids to be able to get the best result out of him. He is a forward mover, but listens very well to his riders seat.
Showjumping: This is most certainly Fletcher’s strongest phase. He is quick, extremely adjustable and loves to throw a few tight turns into the mix. He is an absolute weapon in the showjumping, rarely knocking a rail in recent years and bringing home ribbons after ribbons. He was the North-West Pony Club Zone Showjumping winner in the 95cm Championship in 2025, placed 4th at the Pony Club Tasmania State 95cm Championship in 2025, and recently placed 2nd in the North-West Pony Club Zone 80cm Championship 2026 with a junior rider.
Cross Country: Fletcher has always excelled around the cross country course, he is incredibly bold, knows his job and enjoys being out there. He is extremely talented, but he won’t do all the work for you. He requires a confident kind rider who he can draw his confidence from on course. If you give him your all, he will certainly do the same.
I could create an endless list of results from the many years we have spent together but I am ultimately interested in finding Fletcher someone who will love him, work with him, and enjoy him just as much as I have.
Fletcher is NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS. He requires a confident, well established rider to get the best out of him. Fletcher is quirky, and requires a knowledgeable horsey family. This can be discussed further with serious enquires.
He has no dirt whatsoever, no buck, rear, bite or bolt. He is perfect to shoe, float, wash, etc.
Fletcher is currently in work and ready to go.
This is an incredibly hard sale, and we would happily keep him forever. I just unfortunately am too time poor due to work and university commitments. Please no time wasters, this decision was already hard enough. We will be extremely particular about finding him the perfect home, multiple references will be required.
