Duchessa CD

Dina is bred to excel in the dressage ring, for top sport. This is international quality and blood here at home.

She is a sharpminded ultramodern filly suitable for a professional/semi professional rider or ambitious competitor to produce with their trainer.

Dina has been lightly backed and mouthed and turned out to grow a bit more, she is ready now for another prep/to be finished off.

She has been consistently handled however can be reactive to new things, but has a very trainable attitude and is a little bit "extra".

Her paces are raw and she is currently a little weak in the canter but the talent and willingness to try is there.

Dina is also very sporty showing a good eye and leg for obstacles/poles so she wouldn't be out of place in a jumping or eventing home also.

She offers valuable blood for someone wanting a combination of older lines in a modern type for future breeding.

Dina also is an easy keeper with fantastic barefoot hooves, and is sensible in the paddock in a variety of fences and living situations. She has been managed professionally her whole life and has received routine worming and hoof trimming.

Unfortunately she has a very small splint that she has come up on her left front, so she is not 100% blemish free (obtain in the paddock at my guess).

Sire is Diamond First (Diamond Hit x Furst Heinrich) standing at Sprehe. Under Simone Pearce he was showing great ability to sit and for the higher work.

Unfortunately this stallion has fallen off the radar but his half brother DiMaggio Black is competing PSG with a junior rider, and another half brother by Christ competing GP.

(Google these stallions/gelding - lots of video is available of them out and about under their respective riders. )

Mareline is a combination of GP dressage royalty imported into Australia - Alessandro IMP/EXP (Sandro Hit) x Mayfield Pzazz IMP (Jazz).

Woodmount Alessia was bred by Andrew McLean and started by McLeans and trained by them before becoming a broodmare.

This mare has consistently produced progeny with incredible mechanics and ability for the work, and with energy that transfers across to willingness. (She herself is very rideable and with extremely powerful paces).

They are very people oriented and are happy to try hard for their human, but they do not tolerate fools.

Somehow Dina missed the bling (small socks on diagonal front/backs and two white hairs for a star) but does carry it, her Dam has 4 white socks and a little snip.

This will be the only filly I am offering from this mareline.

The Sandro Hit/Jazz combo shows up in the modern stallion Zonik, which has a lot of successful progeny at high level.

Crossed to older D/F lines this filly combines GP dressage blood, as well as the valuable Don Schufro blood.

This blood also would cross well with heavier types to refine and add sharpness and hind leg activity.
