Bud is currently competing confidently at 105cm eventing and is ready to step up next season. He is consistent across all three phases and has never had a cross-country jumping fault at this level. He has been carefully and thoughtfully produced throughout his career.

Always comes home within top 10 or with a ribbon. Good flatwork always produces a lovely relaxed test. No problems with ditches, water, skinnies, fill etc. Good to shoe, drench, clip, catch, self loads etc. Snaffle bit for dressage and goes in a 2 ring gag for jumping.

Bud is a pleasure to have around - he has great feet, is a good doer, and is easy to manage. He hacks happily on the road and farm, and even enjoys swimming at the beach. He travels well in all forms of transport, including planes! And is very easy to take to competitions.

He has a kind, people-oriented nature (and a love of food!) and thrives on attention. Under saddle, Bud is incredibly forgiving and will jump from anywhere, making him a fun and confidence-giving ride.

Bud can be a little spooky at times, mainly when hacking, and due to his size, he would not be best suited to a nervous rider. He would be ideal for a capable teenager or rider looking for a competitive and enjoyable partner.
