Hank!

🤎 HANK — 11yo | 15.3hh | Gelding | Project / All-Rounder

It’s with a very heavy heart that I’m putting my boy Hank up for sale. Hank is a very special horse who has taught me so much and has such a big personality. I’m looking for someone who will appreciate him for who he is and continue working with him.

Hank has experience with flatwork, trail riding, Pony Club, lessons and jumping. He has jumped up to 80cm and is currently working on his canter, adjustability and confidence over fences. He is generally more woah than go and does not buck, rear or bolt.

Hank is not a push-button horse and would suit someone experienced who is looking for a genuine project. He can be opinionated and does occasionally pig-root. He can also be difficult to bridle, although this has been getting progressively easier as we’ve worked with him and built his trust. He is a horse who really benefits from patience, consistency and someone willing to take the time to understand him.

Despite his quirks, Hank is a very rewarding horse to work with and I believe he has a lot of potential with the right person. He is a great project for someone wanting to continue his education and build a strong partnership with their horse.

He is easy to catch, good for the farrier and has experience around children and beginner riders in supervised environments.

This is an incredibly hard decision, so a good home is more important to me than a quick sale. I’m happy to be completely open and honest about Hank, including his quirks and anything a serious buyer would like to know.
