High Performance Experienced OTTB

Pirellone (or ‘Rickey’) is an experienced 13yrs TB, he is incredibly bold and has great movement allowing him to excel in both showjumping and eventing. He is NSW bred and raced so he is Equimillion, Magics, Ekka etc. eligible.

He has done two years jumping around the 120-130 juniors successfully and is currently eventing at a 1* level with plenty of scope and ability to progress through the levels. He is a bold, scopey ride with a solid dressage foundation training all medium movements at home.

Rickey has also done a year of interschool having many notable achievements including reserve national champion in 2* CT and 7th overall 120cm in 2024.

He is perfectly sound and incredibly easy to travel, shoe, stable etc.

Rickey is charismatic, spunky and loves to jump, his natural ability both over a fence and on the flat always make him an absolute standout horse. Over the past 3 years he has been ridden by a young rider who has trained him from 90cm up to his current level and he has massive potential to excell into the high levels of showjumping or eventing.

His competition campaign has taken a bit of a step back in 2026 as his rider had been increasingly busy with uni and work commitments, however he is still in full work and has been to many comps this year with another rider, and is only for sale due to his rider no longer competing.

He would suit a competitive young rider or amateur looking for a one of a kind OTTB to take up through the levels.
