Maggie is a 4-year-old Connemara x TB mare born on the 30h Nov 2022. Maggie is currently about 14.2hh and will continue to grow, making her the perfect size for adults, teenagers and kids. She was lightly broken in late last year, left to mature and has since been consistently ridden and further educated.

Maggie was meant to be my long-term project, however with 5 other horses to work and university beginning this year I have found myself very short on time and cannot give her the attention and dedication that she deserves. Maggie is a pleasure to have around, she is straightforward to catch, rug, wash etc. She is sensible and intelligent, making her a quick learner, however she can be sensitive under saddle due to her lack of experience. Maggie has three lovely natural paces with a stride larger than expected for her stature and is active and engaged when ridden. This means that maggie is not suitable for an inexperienced rider as she requires further education and ridden work for her to flourish. With the right rider, Maggie will excel in any chosen discipline due to her attentive nature and willingness to please.

I would like to find her a home where she is given the time she deserves and where her natural talents can be developed into a truly special pony. Maggie’s tough versatile Connemara attributes combined with her Thoroughbred height and intelligence make her a true asset to anyone looking to produce a top-level pony. I had high hopes for her and I and would like to see her achieve that in capable hands.

Maggie is up to date with all vaccinations, worming, teeth and farrier work. She is barefoot with no soundness issues ever.
