Equus Oceanna, also known as “Rani”, is a quality Registered Hanoverian mare with an excellent dressage foundation and plenty still to offer under saddle.

Rani is trained through to Medium level and has a solid understanding of the work. She is an expressive mare with quality movement and a trainable attitude, making her an enjoyable ride for a capable and knowledgeable rider. Her flying changes are still developing, and she has recently begun training some of the more of the Advanced work, including the early foundations of passage and piaffe. She is willing to learn and continues to improve with consistent riding and training.

Rani has previously had two foals, both with straightforward pregnancies and uncomplicated births.

After more than five years away from competition environments, Rani returned to outings in 2026 and handled the atmosphere beautifully. She is currently preparing to make her Medium debut within the next two months and has recently competed in several unofficial Novice tests, achieving scores of up to 68% on multiple occasions. Her score sheets have included 7.5s for paces and leg yields, along with several 8s for her lengthened trot, highlighting the quality and trainability she possesses.

She is sensible to travel, easy to take out and about, and settles well in new environments.

Rani has no major spook and enjoys having a job to do. She is currently maintained barefoot and is an easy keeper, requiring a straightforward diet.

Rani is best suited to a confident rider who appreciates a quality mare and is willing to build a partnership with her. Like many talented mares, she does have a few mare like traits however, these are minor and do not detract from her overall performance, trainability, or suitability for the right rider.
