Thunder has been ridden by a 14 year old for the past 2 years. He is a complete gentleman, unflappable educated boy.
He would make a perfect first teenage horse for someone coming off a pony. He is educated but still has plenty to learn and always tries his hardest.
He has attended pony club and is a great pony club mount, tries anything without a bother.
He would make a great mums horse. He was used as a lead pony in a racing stable before coming to us.
Thunder is happy paddocked with other horses or on his own. He can be ridden/taken out on his own, is used to dogs, tractors, mowers and trucks driving past while out on a trail. Nothing fazes him.
We are predominantly a showjumping home where Thunder has done most of his work. Competing up to 110cm but is happier around the 90cm - 1 m height.
Thunder has done plenty of xc schooling and is very brave and shows promise in that area. He has competed in grade 5 horse trials finishing on his dressage score. Eventing is just not the path his rider wanted to head down but he shows plenty of promise in that discipline.
Easy to do anything with, farrier, dentist, worm, vet, wash, float.
Holds weight extremely well.
Ridden in a snaffle
Shod in front
Does have a couple of small scars, does not affect him in anyway.
Mild windsucker, controlled with a collar.
