Hugo is an exceptionally well-bred pony with all the qualities to excel in pony dressage.

Sire: Alcheringa Heritage Addition (Welsh C)
Dam: Imperial Jemma (Welsh B)

Professionally broken in for pony dressage during the summer of 2025 and originally retained for my daughter. Unfortunately, she is no longer riding, so Hugo is now offered for sale.

Hugo oozes presence and has impressive, ground-covering movement. He has all the ingredients to progress to the top levels with a capable and experienced rider, as he is still green and continuing his education.

He is an honest pony with no dirt and is easy to bring back into work after time off. Hugo attended Pony Club and settled in beautifully, taking everything in his stride.

Hugo is easy to handle and has excellent manners. He will:

• Stand quietly for mounting

• Lead well

• Tie up

• Rug

• Float with ease

As expected of a young green pony, Hugo can occasionally pigroot in the canter on the clockwise rein to begin with. With an experienced and balanced rider, this has not proven to be an ongoing issue.

This is a genuine sale of a quality young pony with a bright future ahead. Hugo would suit a knowledgeable home looking to develop a talented pony through the ranks.
