Goldie would suit a lead-line show home or a confident small teen/adult rider with experience. He is not suitable for beginners off lead/learning to canter. He has happily walked around with beginners.

Striking palomino with four white socks, a blaze and a very large personality. Unfortunately offered for sale due to being out of work as he is unsuitable for his beginner rider.

Goldie has been extensively shown in hand and under saddle, including Canberra Royal 2022 with a win and other placings. He has also competed in dressage and attended Pony Club, clinics, obstacle days with experienced young riders, as well as Pony Club on lead with a beginner.

Goldie prefers the slower life. He is educated on the flat, enjoys showing, he isn't a forward moving type and jumping isn’t his favourite. He confident and predictable rider who takes the time to build a relationship with him.

We purchased Goldie as a first off-lead pony; however, he isn’t suited to this role. He can become unsettled with an unbalanced rider in canter and is not a beginner’s horse in that respect.

Goldie loves attention and being pampered but is a cheeky and can test boundaries. He is very food orientated and may nip/search pockets for treats or sneak grass while being led. Treats are best saved until the end!

Easy to catch, trim, float, rug and handle. Regularly handled by children. Happy stabled or paddocked, alone or with others, and respectful of fences. Good in busy agistment, indoor arenas, around machinery and easy to take to new places.

Up to date with teeth, trims, massage and worming. Barefoot with good feet. Never foundered to the best of our knowledge and best managed off lush/sugary grass. He prefers rug leg straps kept a little loose.

DISCLOSURE: Goldie has been reliable under saddle the vast majority of the time; however, he has humped/bucked on two occasions with larger/taller riders. In our experience, he appears more comfortable with a smaller rider.

Sold out of work with some rugs, bridle and all of his registration papers.

We would love to see Goldie find a home that suits him and appreciates his very large personality. Goldie enjoys attention :)
