Introduction: Thomas is the gentle, reliable Australian Riding Pony you’ve been searching for! He’s the perfect partner for both beginners and more experienced riders eager to explore dressage, showing, eventing, and showjumping. With his charming personality and cooperative nature, Thomas is ready to help you achieve your equestrian dreams!

Education, Skills, and Experience: Thomas shines as a schoolmaster with a wealth of experience. He is competitive in dressage, jumping, pony club and at interschool level. Thomas is safe around livestock, navigates working equitation obstacles with ease, and enjoys bareback riding and trail adventures. His calm demeanor around water makes him a joy to ride during summer!

General Demeanor Under Saddle: This incredible gelding is willing, responsive, educated and competitive. Remarkably, he is also very forgiving of rider mistakes and inexperience, adapting to the confidence and skill level of the rider. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned rider, Thomas ensures you have a safe and fun ride - every time!

Current Workload/Fitness: Currently in light work and ridden 1-2 times a week, Thomas is reliable and safe without the need for regular exercise. He’s the ideal partner for busy families!

Handling and General Behavior: Thomas is easy to handle, calm, and well-mannered. He walks calmly on a lead, ties up without fuss, and loads easily into a float or truck for adventures. Thomas is easy to wash and is sensible for the farrier and vet!

Thomas does not have any vices or quirks under saddle but is a very mild windsucker if bored and without food in a stable or yard. He does not do this when paddocked, does not require a collar and it has never affected him. His price has been adjusted to reflect this.

Feeding and Management: Thomas is currently enjoying living in a grassy paddock and is fed hay daily, with hard feed during work. He requires a companion in sight but can comfortably stay alone in a paddock.

Medical History: Thomas has no past or present medical issues, just a few small scars that add character!

Reason for Sale: Unfortunately, his rider has very sadly outgrown him.

Ideal Home: Thomas is searching for a long-term, loving family where he can be adored by children. He thrives on attention and enjoys having a job to do. As my daughter’s first horse, he has guided her from beginner stages to success at interschool competitions. Make Thomas a part of your family today, and he will surely create wonderful memories with you!
