Scarlett is a beautiful 2019 dark bay mare, approximately 15.3hh (unmeasured), with a black mane and tail, three white feet and a white star.

She is an intelligent, expressive mare with beautiful movement and plenty of personality. Scarlett loves being involved in what's going on around her and certainly isn't shy about reminding you when she thinks it's feed time. She's a real character and forms strong relationships with the people and animals around her.

Scarlett is comfortable around dogs, cats, chickens and other animals. In a herd she's confident and likes to think she's the boss, although amusingly she's also quite happy to follow another horse when they're actually going somewhere.

She was previously worked with by an experienced OTTB trainer and was being prepared with future Pony Club development in mind. Unfortunately, after going to another owner she was mishandled and her trust in people was affected. Since returning, that trust has needed to be rebuilt.

For that reason, Scarlett needs an experienced, kind and confident horse person who understands that gaining her trust and continuing her education will take consistency and patience. She is not being offered as a beginner's horse.

She's a lovely mare with a lot to give the right person, and I'm looking for a home that will appreciate both her potential and her wonderfully opinionated personality.
