Sparkles is a stunning registered Welsh A gelding who has just turned 3 years old on the 23rd of September. Standing approximately 11.1hh (not officially measured), he has exceptional movement, beautiful presence and a real “look at me” quality.

Breeding:

Sire: Nilton Port Merrion

Dam: Nilton Spotlight

Sparkles is a very friendly and affectionate pony who loves people and is always looking for a cuddle and a kiss. He has had a lot of exposure to children, farm animals and machinery and has been paddocked both alone and with other horses.

He is good to trim and for the farrier, up to date with worming, and has been mouthed and saddled. He has had a 2-year-old sit on him and be led around and has attended Pony Club for exposure and experience, although not under saddle. He is good to lunge, float, tie up and stable.

Sparkles is still green due to his age so while he has had a great foundation and plenty of handling, he is not yet suitable for young children to ride or handle independently.

With his outstanding movement, quality breeding and eye-catching appearance, Sparkles has the potential to make a top competition pony. He would suit an experienced family wanting a quality young pony to bring along and develop for the show ring or other competitive pursuits.
