Stunning Young prospect

Diamond Express | Mabel

📍 Douglas Park, NSW

Mabel is a quality 16hh, 5-year-old OTTB mare who is well underway in her post-racing education and is ready to find someone to continue producing her.

Mabel finished racing in June 2025 and completed some initial retraining before enjoying a spell. Since coming to me, she has been professionally and consistently produced with a focus on giving her a correct, confident foundation for her future.

She has completed her first dressage competition, receiving lovely comments and good marks while taking the entire atmosphere in her stride. She has also attended a number of outings away from home and completed a jump training day, where she was an absolute professional in the atmosphere.

Mabel is showing a great natural jumping style and is proving to be brave and willing to a fence. She is a lovely mover with plenty of quality and is showing all the attributes to make a really nice performance horse. She would make a lovely prospect for eventing, dressage, show jumping or a competitive all-rounder home.

Under saddle, Mabel is more “woah” than “go” and is not a hot or overly forward type. She has no buck, rear or nastiness and has been straightforward throughout her retraining.

🩺 We also have a current PPE report available for interested buyers.

Mabel is still a young OTTB and continuing her education, so she would be best suited to a capable, confident rider who can continue developing her.
