Introduction:
Summer’s Eve, known as Evie, is a striking burnt buckskin 3yo WB x GRP filly by Noble Dancer out of Belle Jadore, by GT Jake. ACE registered and approximately 14.1hh, Evie is a compact, eye-catching young mare with appealing breeding and wonderful movement.

Evie presents as a dressage or showing prospect for an experienced rider who enjoys producing young horses and is confident with sensitive, sharp types. She has the quality, presence and the foundations of a lovely small performance horse in the right hands.

Education, skills and experience:
Evie has been started under saddle and was broken in with extensive bush, road and farm riding before having a spell. She is now commencing flatwork and has the basics in place.

Her early education gives her a useful foundation, but she is still very much a young horse requiring time, consistency and tact. With the right program, Evie has the type and movement to be developed for dressage or showing.

General demeanour under saddle:
Due to her age and education, under saddle, Evie is forward, sharp, green and sensitive. Evie is being ridden twice weekly by a relaxed and experienced rider, who finds her straightforward and reliable. She does not display any vices or quirks, under saddle, with this rider. Please see Owners Response Certificate for more information.

Current workload / fitness:
Evie is in light work and is ridden one to two times per week. She benefits from lunging before riding after a spell.

Handling:
For a confident and capable handler, Evie is easy to catch, groom, saddle, wash. She leads willingly, ties up calmly, loads, travels and unloads in a sensible manner. Evie is reliable for the farrier.

Feeding and management:
Evie is currently paddocked, on minimal hard feed, with hay as needed. She is barefoot. Evie can be kept in a herd or on her own but she must have a companion within sight.

Medical history:
Evie is vaccinated and is up to date with dental. She doesn't have any known medical issues. Vet checks are welcome at the buyer’s expense.

Rider Suitability:
Evie is best suited to an experienced rider under regular professional instruction who is comfortable producing sharp, sensitive young horses. She needs a calm, confident and tactful rider who can help her relax, understand the job and build consistency.

In the right hands, Evie has the breeding, colour, movement and presence to develop into a quality small dressage or show horse.

Reason for sale:
Evie’s owner-breeder has realised that, as a mother of young children, she does not have the time or confidence to produce a young horse.
