Talented athlete

Rocco is a 10yo WB gelding, 17hh with a very loveable trainable nature. He has always been sound, great feet, good for the farrier, good to handle, float, take out. Rocco has only had 1 owner, who bred him. This is a devastating decision she has made and because he has been in very light, irregular work for the past 4 years due to school then uni and work commitments that will continue for a few more years, his price reflects this.

Rocco has 3 ground covering paces and an amazing jump, he is looking for his next rider to fulfill his potential. He needs someone with patience and skill to bring him back into full work, gain his confidence then the skies the limit.

Rocco's grandsire Zirocco Blue VDL has numerous Grand Prix, World Cup and Nations Cup titles to his name as well as being on the Dutch Olympic team in Rio. He has more than 100 offspring competing at 1.55m/1.60m Grand Prix level.

Rocco is happy in the paddock with others or on his own, also happy in the yard. Has been an easy horse for his young owner to take out and been well behaved on his limited outtings.

As Rocco is a big moving, naturally forward showjumper he would not suit an inexperienced or nervous rider.

He is back in light work, due to the weather in Orange, and ready for viewing.
