Tall, dark & handsome with movement to match looks

Striking 8-year-old New Zealand-bred Thoroughbred gelding, approximately 17hh.

An exciting performance prospect with all the right ingredients. Short-coupled, naturally balanced and blessed with exceptional movement. He finds working in a frame effortless, gives a fantastic feel and genuinely moves like a warmblood - This horse will hold his own in any dressage arena or show ring.

He also has wonderful changes, always clean, always effortless.

Retired sound after a successful racing career earlier this year before commencing retraining with an FEI event rider.

He debuted at Melbourne International 3 Day Event in June in the Rising Stars class, finishing 5th from 26 with an impressive 76.6% dressage score, including a 9 for General Impression.

After a winter spell, he resumed at Friends of Werribee in the EvA65, where he led after dressage on 69.7%.
A green showjumping round dropped him a few places before a clear cross-country round secured 5th overall.
He then went to Oxley Horse Trials and jumped a double clear in the EvA80 to finish 3rd.

This horse has serious scope over a fence. His technique is still developing, but he is showing plenty of ability and is very easy to school over fences thanks to his lovely canter and willing attitude.

He has now had multiple outings, taking everything in his stride, and has been given a solid foundation without being overproduced.
He is ready for someone to put their own stamp on him.

Forward-thinking and tall, so will not suit a beginner, novice, junior or someone returning to riding.

He will flourish in a competitive environment with a capable rider who understands Thoroughbreds, he loves being in work and thrives being fussed over.

Eligible for Equimillion and for the Off The Track Carnival.

Full veterinary history is available from his racing stable, with nothing remarkable noted.

He has recent pre-purchase x-rays available to serious buyers.

A quality prospect with serious upside for eventing, dressage or show disciplines.

He is only being offered as his rider is building a new horse property and, unfortunately, he is being sold to help fund the arena!

Please note: Prospective purchasers will be asked to provide current video footage of themselves riding before arranging a viewing.
After many years of selling horses, I have had too many people significantly overestimate their riding ability.
Will only be sold to a suitable competition home.

Was previously advertised prior to MI3DE with plenty of interest however was taken off market due to time resistance, and his delusional rider convincing herself she has more time than she does!

I pride myself on preparing well-schooled, competition-exposed OTT Thoroughbreds for eventing, with the last horse I prepared being purchased by Tinney Eventing.

Serious enquiries only.
