Thoroughbred with plenty of jump

Doug is a 9yo 15.3 gelding by Dissident, who Last raced 2022. Post racing Doug has had plenty of time to live life in the slow lane, in which he has been a great eventing and showjumping mount.

He is a naturally brave and careful horse in the jumping phases, and is yet to bat an eye lid at fill or a cross country fence. He has never finished an event with a jumping penalty, and will be a competitive horse in straight showjumping.

Whilst not a world beater on the flat, he can produce a neat and tidy dressage test. He has a soft mouth, plenty of breaks, and is ridden in a plastic bit in all three phases.

Doug is suited to an experienced rider who can continue to produce him. He can be horse shy and is noise sensitive when worked with other horses, particularly in warmups. The more he is exposed to this the more he relaxes.
