He has attended show jumping clinics, competed at in-hand and ridden shows, and worked as a clerk of the course. He is well educated at home, with established lateral work including shoulder control, sidestepping and hindquarter yields.

Toffy is best suited to an experienced, confident handler and a low-pressure pleasure or show home. He can become fresh at unfamiliar outings and needs a quiet, balanced approach.

He has mild arthritis, with X-rays available upon request. Over the past two years, he has undergone ulcer treatment, received injections and transitioned to barefoot on all four feet. Maintaining his comfort in Darwin has been manageable, but as he ages, it’s become clear that he may benefit from a more suitable climate.

Toffy has recently been out of consistent work due to recent work and life commitments.

I had hoped to produce Toffy as a competitive performance horse & have greatly enjoyed the time we have spent together, but I believe a different climate and a more suitable workload may offer him a better future.

This is a genuine hard sale as I need to reduce my numbers. Toffy means a great deal to me, so the right home is essential, and full transparency regarding his history and management needs is a priority.
