Versatile & Athletic

Fabara aka Daisy is a quiet 4-year-old bay Thoroughbred mare standing at approx. 15.2hh, offering plenty of potential for someone looking for a quality young horse to continue developing across the disciplines of their choice.

Racing under the name Fabara, Daisy only ran 6 races before being deemed not quick enough and has been transitioned into a dressage and show horse. She has been professionally restarted and is currently competing preliminary dressage and training novice-level dressage with placings in all her outings. She has also attended her first T-shirt hack show where she won or placed in all of her classes.

She has established basic laterals such as turn on the forehand and leg yielding and has started progressing to walk/canter transitions and lengthening the stride in trot. She has also been ridden on the roads and trails and is well behaved in traffic. She is the same out in public as she is at home and does not need to be lunged or worked down.

I have taught some of my students on her, and one of my students has taken her to a comp when her horse was lame. We have done trot poles and free-jumped her, and she has had her first jumping session under saddle. She has excellent ground manners and is good to catch, have her feet trimmed (not currently shod & been fine competing on grass), clipped for show prep etc.

She has a lovely soft snaffle mouth & would make an ideal dressage / show horse / interschool or future eventer as she is showing quite an aptitude with her jumping. She has a very trainable temperament and is quick to learn.

Comes with 10 free Queensland Off The Track lessons.
