SECOND HORSE WANTED

Hi everyone, I live in Gladstone and am ready to shop for my second horse as my confidence builder. My current horse is a project (part Arab). First and foremost, I take amazing care of all my animals (I have goats, dogs, chickens and turkeys) so he will go to the best of homes and have a friend. I can happily provide references. I am a pony club and EA member.

I am an older rider (woman) so looking for an experienced confidence builder that I can start showing and working regularly. I am interested in an all rounder and considering working equitation/extreme cowboy racing into the future. I love to jump but I don't want that to be my only interest.

Please note, NO Thoroughbreds.

WANTED:

• 14.3hh-15.3hh

• gelding

• registered

• very solid foundation and keen to learn more

• absolutely NO nasties specifically - charging, bucking, biting or kicking people.

• attended plenty of shows and happy competing

• must be able to jump and enjoy it (I am not planning competing over 1m)

• temperament - quiet/calm/relaxed

• shoeless or can be

• athletic
  

Everything else I am happy to work on.

NICE TO HAVES:

• paint, pinto, chestnut, Arab derivative, stockhorse derivative, quarter horse mix etc.

• 1 owner since baby

• just get on and ride even after a break/spell

• smooth collected canter

• flying lead changes

• not issues with floating, farrier, worming etc.

• no current health issues e.g. Queensland itch

• no cribbing

• happy to be turned out during the day and stabled at night
