Oscar is a beautiful rising 8yo chestnut Warmblood who is currently training novice and competing prelim. Although he hasn’t had a huge amount of competition experience due to my busy lifestyle, he has all the qualities to make someone a wonderful partner both in and out of the competition arena.

Oscar has three forward, correct paces and is a very trainable horse who genuinely tries his heart out for his rider. He is generally calm and quiet, but is also a horse who can feed off his rider’s energy, so he appreciates a confident, balanced partnership.

One of Oscar’s best qualities is his sensible nature. He is the kind of horse who doesn’t need to be in full work to remain quiet and settled. He can have time off and you can simply jump back on and get going again, making him a lovely horse to have around a busy lifestyle.

But what makes Oscar truly special is his personality! ❤️ He is a real people’s horse who loves a chat when you visit him at feed time. He will do just about anything for some liquorice, and if you’re lucky, you might even get a big lick from him! He has such a sweet nature and is the kind of horse who really gets into your heart.

Oscar is the first horse I have brought on myself, which makes this an incredibly difficult and emotional sale. He has taught me so much, and finding him the right home is my absolute priority.

This is not an easy sale, and Oscar will only be sold to the very best of homes. 🧡
