Project horse for an experienced home.

Theo is an unraced Thoroughbred, broken in young and later used as a trail horse. He is very quiet on the ground and easy to handle—catch, groom, tack up, feet, and rug with no fuss. He’s confident off property in-hand and has seen a variety of environments without issue.

He has had consistent groundwork with us and understands lunging, yielding, tying, and general handling. He is a very people-oriented horse and enjoys attention. Has been free jumped showing good scope, with potential for show jumping or eventing (Can send photos/videos if requested).

Under saddle, Theo has shown some resistance (kicking out, rearing, and a buck), particularly when pressure is applied or when fresh. Due to this, we have taken a step back and focused on groundwork and restarting him, which he responded well to. However, we feel he requires a more experienced rider to continue his education.

We have owned him for 5 months and believe he has plenty of potential in the right hands, but he is currently beyond our experience level.

This is a sad sale, and we are looking for the right home to bring him on. We encourage interested buyers to come meet him and assess him for themselves.
